Cyclocross was invented by roadies so they could continue training in the off-season.

From the Wash Hts, #1 train to S ferry...35-45 min
Ferry to SI, same at least
SI Train to the stop for Wolf's Pond Park...1 hr
3-4 miles from the station to the course...

Good Luck with that!!!

Ride as many races that you qualify each one will be a blast!!!

the train

Fri, 11/11/2011 - 2:19am

They probably took the train from the park to the ferry, which is pretty sensible assuming they were competing. I hear the drivers on SI are maniacs.

time to get home
By: Tibo Cogset
Fri, 11/11/2011 - 2:13am

I googled bicycle directions from south ferry and it looks to be about an hour to the park. So if you ride, it should not take you more than two hours to get home to the heights. Probably less since the trip time on google maps was at an average of 12 mph.

public transit then racing sounds like a pain...

and bringing a floor pump to get exactly 27.94685 psi into my tires beforehand would be nice. but driving sucks too.
