They are the cause of all the plastered "Reward for my pet" postings at your (at least my) local street light/stop sign. Pet owners keep thinking somebody stole their prized pet when they've been eaten to the bone, no reward for the bones unfortunately.
It was five-minute spot about owls snatching pets in Sonoma County. Odessa had a couple of quotes and Bandit was mentioned. She said the owl was banded on its right claw. A yellow band. But no mention that she was married to and motopaced the former winner of the Amgen Tour of California.
