I think Phyllis might be playing that game this morning... his speech slurred a bit during the opener. Anyone else notice his twinge of pleasure when delivering the goods about Menchov and his triathlete-quality skills on a TT bike?
i wouldn't play that game and expect to not get wasted to oblivion. it's damn hard to fill air time, especially covering an event where basically nothing happens for 90% of the event.
take a drink every time Bobke or Hummer describes a rider as "the best in the business" - I tried that last night and was wasted before they got done with the pre-race during expanded coverage
Contador, just work up until there are 5 guys left, and Armstrong gets to within sight of the Mellow Johnny Shirt, then sit up...time taken on the 5th rider, then he can "plead the 5th" and let "others" decide what happened...
Armacy is trying to take Lemond's greatest whining moment, the 1986 Tour, and make this "last" Tour rivalry between Contador, even bigger and badder...
