so many results

It’s the Monday after Battenkill, and that means that there are many very slow moving shaved-legged people in the offices and workplaces of New York and the Tri-State Area.

Out of town race reporting rules apply so anyone who finish on the podium (top three, not those wimpy top five podiums) gets mentioned.

A duo of Canadians won the men’s cat 1 race, but Dan Chabanov of Foundation was the first NYC finisher (look, I just broke my own rule about result reporting!) at 16th place.

In the category 2 race, Evan Murphy of Foundation took a well deserved win.

Chris Strumolo of Dave Jordan Racing won the cat 3A race. Jesse Walker of Setanta won the cat 3B race. Noah Gellner of Foundation was second in the cat 4A race, with Steve Kang of Breakaway Couriers third. Armand Wilhelm of Siggi’s/nyvelocity was third in the cat 4C race. Ethan Pond of Cyclelifeusa/GFcapitol was second in the cat 4D race. CHris Pino of W&D Racing was third in the cat 5A race. Jovica Ivetic of Siggi’s/nyvelocity won the men’s 5F race with teammate Regis Dupont second. Alexis Kraft of Siggi’s.nyvelocity won the cat 5K race.

In the women’s fields, Danielle Kosecki of Asphalt Green was second in the 3/4 race with teammate Aimee Layton third. Jessica Meany of Stan’s NoTubes p/b Endurancewerx was second in the cat $A race. Lucia Matioli was second in the 4B race, Maria Rosenfeld of Dave Jordan Racing was third.

In the masters fields, Robert Lyons of Finkraft cycling was second ahead of teammate Roger Aspholm.

First day results are here.

And on the second day, Fred Dreier of Finkraft was third in the men’s 30+ race. Carl Reglar of Verge Sport/Test Pilot was third in the 40+. Day two results are here.

In hot Fondo action, some jerk from BH placed first in his age division, like that’s not completely fishy…

And we’re only started on the results reporting. The internet says that Brian Breach won the Central Park Spring Series Race. Thankfully, Bethel results aren’t up yet nor are Rahway or any other results, so this lazy guy is going to stop typing now.

Did Schmalz really suckle on the teats of victory at Battenkill? Are there no photos of this epic moment?

All the Battenkill results are listed 4 times, so if you did well you shot through the rankings.
