The upcoming weekend has the spring race series marching on while the big dirty race upstate looms on the training schedule for many. Let's have a seat (you need to save your legs for Battenkill) and see what the weekend offers.
On Saturday there's the Cherry Blossom Challenge at Branch Brook Park, and that pretty much does it for Saturday.
Sunday brings races in the Spring Series in Central Park and the 2011 Outdoor Sport Center Bethel Spring Series with the Circuit Francis J Clarke, but much of the weekend's focus (and obsessiveness) will be upon Cambridge, NY and the Tour of the Battenkill. I'll include the registration link here, but the date has long passed when you could get yourself into the race. Also, the forecast portends a high of 62 degrees and a chance for rain. It's good that you are sitting down already. I'll see you at the port-o-johns.
Sometimes when you’re busy doing life, it’s easy to forget that some people still give a crap about racing bikes. Those who still care are doing these sorts of races.
The weekend happened. As did some bike racing. I will recap what I can find with a very quick search.
It’s another weekend of racing in the area, and, of course, more chances for you to show the world your prowess at bikes.
