Big one this weekend

It’s another weekend that’s chock full o’ bike races, so let’s take a break from master’s baiting and let’s do about 15 minutes worth of googling and see what’s out there.

Saturday morning there’s a CRCA club race in Central Park.

Also on Saturday morning there’s the 2014 Lucarelli & Castaldi Branchbrook Park Spring Series: Ronde von DeGraw at Branchbrook Park in Newark, NJ.

The big race on Saturday is, of course, the Grant’s Tomb Criterium, which is the first big race of the season (master’s clashes notwithstanding).

Sunday there’s a Spring Series Race in Central Park.

And finishing up the weekend is the 2014 Bethel Spring Series – Ris Van Bethel – p/b Outdoor Sports Center in Bethel, CT.

When I was a junior I used to be able to master bait all day long, now I just have enough energy for a little master baiting in the morning.

I have no problem with Rick, New Britain was last year, this is a new year. Truth being, I’m so old I will probably never beat Rick again.

With all thats going on in the the world today, I just want to keep things simple, race my bike and have fun . I had nothing to do with the hating on Rick on this board.

Good luck to all,
Brian

Yes, there is a CRCA Club Race in Central Park tomorrow. All races should allow sufficient time to both race in CP and get to GT for the relevant field.

Oh, you’re right. My bad. I keep flashing back to the old L&C start date being the day after Grant’s and forgetting Grant’s was moved up a week.

Was CRCA supposed to send numbers this week(if you stayed in bed last Sat morning)?
If it was sent, I didn’t get it. Will they have the numbers there tomorrow at registration?

Please delete that Dan. I was informed that one can still pick up numbers tomorrow morning. Remaining ones will be sent after 3/8,

Ya know, I love Dan’s posts pretending to be team captain, but now am finding that I am turning into THAT GUY! Which makes me feel like an ass, but it is amazing how annoying it is. You have to turn into a freaking kindergarten teacher because everyone on the team are such incompetent ninnies!

Restoring some level of sanity on this site [if possible] no offense Dan. Brian, way to take the high road and hopefully this rubs on on others.

Was one level above a game of two hand touch in the park. Save yourself the race fee and pretend to bike race at a group ride… Then at least you can’t complain about not hearing the bell lap 😉

Don’t flame small children, I know a lot of kindergarteners who are more competent at life than some bike racers.
