Dude is celebrating the glory and suffering and sacrifice needed to win a race in Central Park. All those 4:30 a.m. mornings, missing the kids’ birthdays, pissing off the wife and jeopardizing the marriage, taking a lesser-paying job so as to increase riding time, etc. It all came to fruition right then and there. So worth it.
