Intensity

defined by watts/kg, and the demand of the event. Individual fitness being at least secondary to the absolutes of the stage races/terrain that Garmin is preparing...some will burn more energy, some will need more recovery, but the center is the event...very old school, with refined observation...

Can you imagine, tho, Merckx et al, getting female PT and physio-ball training during the event itself?

Glad the attitude for winning has returned, no more 2nd place, willing to shoot for the top, risking a podium to do so...we will see???
