The Medicine of Cycling is the only organization of its kind. It began as a grass roots group of doctors who wanted to improve the medical care of cyclists. I have been fortunate to be involved with this group, which was founded in 2010 and has educated hundreds of physicians across the country about taking care of our favorite people. This group inspired me to hold the free cycling medical symposium at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases last year, and the Medical Education course this year. There is more to come, too!
We are working to improve and expand our reach. We have applied for a Chase Mission: Small Business grant in order to help build applications to make cycling and racing safer. We need 250 votes to be considered with a deadline of 6/30/12. Please help by casting your FREE vote through your Facebook account.

WCR, this is not about performance, it's about studying things like injuries, concussions, training physicians to work races. They also work with USADA and WADA to educate the community about doping.
