Quintero positive

Lisban Quintero tests positive

This was sent to me from Foundation Cycling New York:

Foundation Cycling New York has removed Lisban Quintero from its roster for violation of team’s contract by testing positive at a race in Wilmington, DE. Lisban has apologized to the CRCA, Foundation Cycling team, their sponsors and the New York racing community in general.  CRCA has a strict code of conduct that includes a requirement to comply with all USAC rules. Accordingly Lisban has also been suspended from CRCA indefinitely at this time.

This is no suprise!

Look it is just time before they caught him. Another guy you NYers idealized and doesnt ride naturally.

fuck dopers

whole team is a bunch of dopers. look at that guy euris– goes from being a mediocre cat 1 to placing in NRC races this year

Franco Lube

bummer. I hate when people throw around doping accusations, but let’s face it it’s hard to trust anyone who wins anything anymore.

Federal investigator

Word got out that Lisban is working with a team of Federal Investigators to learn more about the Foundation team PED program

Simone Rivnut

When will these shit teams in nyc get it. Your fucking team is full of junkeys foundation. You look like a bunch of fuck ups

tyronne

wish you weren’t joking “fed.” i guess i’m not surprised, just bummed that he’s the first guy to get taken down, not the nasty dudes. but at the end of the day, you play with fire, you *might* get burned. is this why he’s been nowhere to be found lately?

Johnny

In my opinion, FK HM!! You know how dam hard we all train just because we love what we do? And then you have this BS….. I know that we all ahve ideas as to who could be. PUt we are never sure. And what a shame that the LOCAL dopers ahve to get cought at a NRC. If we ahve testing around here….mmmmmh??? The shit would hit the fan. I mean really….!!! What makes us (non-dopers) pay our entry fees and do all of the sacrifisis that we do just to race? I repeat once again “FK HM” aand the rest of the DIRTY FKS>>>

Esteban Kevlar

might as well test xxxxx too. he’s getting fatter and faster as the days go by. maybe they are eating dirty, dirty meat!

DOPER TEAM

This is hilarious…

He apologized for what exactly?

Knowing that he put dope in his system and won a bunch of races by cheating? That he got caught?

He should be SUSPENDED from CRCA for life… scum bag!

Palla Sealant

while we are bashing foundation riders fuck that old asshole who rides the specialized in the park that has the riding form of a farm animal.

Cece Headbadge

Think of the glory he achieved whilst eating “the beef.”

Those CRCA races landed him fame, fortune and adoration of…of….who, exactly?

tyronne

where do these guys get the money to dope? i guess this might be a positive test for something JV like anabolic steroids or something, but still, isn’t this stuff supposed to be pricey?

Thibault Butyl

You dont need $$$ to dope.
You dont need a friend.
All you gotta do is pop an Aderol before a big crit.
game over.

dick

oh, yeah, ballsy move on foundation’s part, ousting a confirmed doper when there have been two, three, four of them on the roster, getting paid, for several seasons.

cat4 for life.

Seriously, how far can one dope in your racing career??? I don’t believe these “performance enhancement” is sustainable.

cat4 for life.

He is still a 4. If you need to dope to make it out as a 4, you seriously have your priority mixed up. Besides, if he does dope, I assume he would want some quick investment return. Maybe winning more prestigious races and quickly upgrading to a cat2.

Foundation.....

Our Mission is to promote the Goodwill of Competitive Cycling Through Charitable Fundraising

Ricco Suave

Maybe Foundation can contribute to the CRCA to buy much-needed drug testing equipment. I heard of a guy that did that, it was very generous and philanthropic. Can’t remember his name though.

Palla Kevlar

Whatever he’s taking it’s not THAT good

Battenkill-4/10/2011

Pro 1

51. Lisban Quintero

Tristan Internal Routing

Jeez, lay off on Foundation. I don’t ride for the team, but this is BS. Yea, F Lisbon, but the team itself does a good job. And the Blake kid is speedy.

Thibault Hammer

I liked it better when the Foundation talk was limited to bashing Inson for riding like a squirrel on meth. Hold your line! This is just depressing that anybody would even bother to dope at the level Foundation rides at.

Alexander Rim

what’s that mean? Lisban get’s paid, equipment, just like a pro team. Dude won Base Camp.

Matteo Lorica

it is gonna be really really funny when 3 other dudes on Foundation test positive this year!!! and they will. i can say that with 100% certitude

Turd Fergusson

Alright guys – easy on Foundation. He’s just one guy and until you’re positive, you’re not positive. Let’s not let one guy bring down an entire team

Tony Soprano

“Let’s not let one guy bring down an entire team”

Alberto Blanco raced for foundation too. That’s 2 dopers. I don’t know how Matteo knows that 3 other Foundation riders will get caught, but he’s probably right that several others dope.

Sofiane Chainline

I’ve seen plenty of riders go from never participating in any sport in their lives to racing cat 2 in less than a year. These riders should obviously be tested by the CRCA…

J. Edgar Hoovercraft

Testing is expensive. Thousands a dollars to test just a few riders at one race if you do it entirely in accord with WADA protocols.

CRCA should test once or twice a year at Club races. Silly to test at a Club race? Sure, but not as ridiculous as doping to win a Park race.

The tests will be unannounced, so the threat will be there for every race. We’ll see who decides to race elsewhere then.

Collateral damage: The CRCA races will be slower.

Butyl

Plenty of white people ride dirty. Call Southern Cali a couple years back… and keep the sanctimonious, mildly racist implication that non-whites whipping your honky-ass might be dirty to yourself….

Jonas Supple

What about that guy Antonio M?, colombian also, racing 10k price bikes, winning some crits and crca races and placing really well in stage races, one of the top sprinters in the area placing 11th on the GC in killington ??, bennington, battenkill etc. think about it.

Make sense

That makes sense. Antonio Munoz, 30 years old and racing Cat 4. He would absolutely be motivated to dope to, what? get up to Cat 3? Seriously?

Nobody is going to dope to win local races and CRCA club races. They are going to dope because they think that is what they need to do to go pro.

Go back and listen to the Miller interview. Now put yourself in Lisban’s shoes – think about his poor background and trying to make it and you might just understand how he got tempted. Most of us are lucky enough to be able to do this as our middle aged sport.

He made a mistake and he is owning up to it. That takes courage.

Blowing this out to the entire Foundation team, CRCA racing, NYC racing makes no sense. Unless I am the only one not doping (which would probably explain my results!)

tyronne

Munoz is a fast cat4. chill.

I would venture to say that New York simply has a more diverse cycling community than most, which is why fast guys getting busted for doping aren’t all white dudes. If you were in Minnesota or Michigan or even Portland, fast dudes getting popped would reflect their more “european” makeup.

Martin Headset

Let’s see how well Foundation riders race now that the heat is on and they have to lay low. Will Blake keep on winning? Dood is on track to go from Cat 5 to Cat 1 in one season. He wins everything.

Danato Asshat

“Nobody is going to dope to win local races and CRCA club races. They are going to dope because they think that is what they need to do to go pro.”
Bless your heart.

bapto witness

I am really amazed at all of the accusations that are following this news. Just because one athlete tests positive it does not mean you can legitimately lump all of his teammates in there with him. Foundation is a large team with a lot of dedicated, hardworking and certaintly, talented individuals.

It is very apparent during races that these guys have excellent team dynamics, which the majority of teams in the CRCA are greatly lacking. I do not think it is fair to dissect their success and take away from their hard work. Maybe some of you need to spend more time training and improving your performance than spending so much time criticizing everyone elses.

There is no doubt in my mind that Foundation will continue to be on the leaderboard at most, if not all, of the races in the area.

Biopace

Interesting editorial decision by Schmalz to feature Lisban’s bust and not Evie’s TT National Championship. Is it a guy thing or is it an obsession about drugs in the sport?

tyronne

you guys have to stop pointing fingers at the cat4 guys who have nothing to do with this. Nobody’s going 5 to 1 in one year. Also, on the other hand, people have to stop the softie “he’s just a kid who made a mistake” crap. that’s total BS. you don’t slip and fall on a testosterone patch, you make a decision to say f#ck it, i’m going to start taking drugs to race faster. now, i’m not saying that i pass judgement on why people do it, but just because they say “sorry, I made a mistake” AFTER getting caught, it doesn’t mean that they are somehow absolved of any guilt. they deserve a little public shaming. but after this all calms down, he’ll still be living on earth, having caused no great calamity to society at large. in the grand scheme of things, this is a minor dick-move.

Jelle Rivnut

There seem to be a lot of guys who dope to do local races. Many of these guys come across as “pros”. They aren’t. Not even close. Even if they do a handfull of NRC races. I’m kinda tired of these guys. Unless you are winning big NRC races across the counrty and looking toward a job in Europe, you aren’t a pro. Doing 5 NRC races in a year doesn’t make you a pro, and that makes the rest of the season local races. They dope to win local races. Get it straight, there are no Pro teams in NYC. Champ Sys not a pro team, Adler, not a pro team, Mengoni, not a pro team, Foundation for shit-sure, not a pro team even if they all think they are. A cat 1 is not a pro. DOPERS SUCK!!!
Don’t even get me started with Masters….
ps: where’s the Papp list??? I can’t wait for that one!

Mohamed Cogset

For sure!! I’m a cat1,when I do NRC races I just follow wheels.
I will never be a Pro..And I win Socal races..Anything bigger I suck..I wish older racers stop thinking there going to be Chris Horner one day! Your not and never will be. Funny thing why do Master racers look like body builders? Mmmm.

crazy chris ton ton

“Nobody is going to dope to win local races and CRCA club races. They are going to dope because they think that is what they need to do to go pro.”

Exactly! Go from 4 to 3 to 2 to 1 to pro. To go pro you have to win and be successful. One way to do that is to dope and destroy the local scene, get noticed, and move up!!

As Ali G says, “ALLO!”

tyronne

there’s a reason pro teams don’t want to touch most of the guys in NYC that are winning, even winning big races. Neil was an exception (not adding fuel to the fire, when MK signed him, they were pro, even if they are elite now). Winning Basecamp like that only further flagged Lisban as suspect, sorry to say.

tyronne

I said most. Gavi is another exception. he paid his dues and got a break. i hope they use him for more than NYC local park races. I have nothing but respect for him.

Evie won nationals today…I’m not a fanboy, but she does deserve to be recognized more than this stupid bit of news that was honestly no surprise to many people out there.

High

Nice guy, we all feel bad about it. hope he do well and feel the support of the cycling community. No Double standar please.

J. Edgar Hoovercraft

A guy wrote:

Thanks for the clarification, but no one confused these teams with Pro teams. An nothing against Adler, but especially not Adler.

Get a grip. And yeah, there are more dopers around. We just do not know who they are for sure.

Helmut Gescheint

Not to provide a how-to but catching guys doing ‘roids is fairly easy. Inject the piss into a 60s era machine and look for the ratio of two signals – done. How guys think they won’t get caught is an enduring mystery. Obtaining ‘roids is easy too.

Sadly EPO (which will really make you really FAST) is a very $$$ dope test requiring expert analysis and probably beyond everything but big time pro races. Getting it in pharma form is also difficult. Unless, of course, you are middle-aged, have money and know a physician who “understands”.

Make of that what you will but it is true.

Pave King

I’m not naive but we really cant go after a whole team because of one person. A few things.

1. Antonio trains hard and doesnt win every race nor has he had a meteoric rise – I have known him for a year and he has slowly but surely worked his way into the form and capabilities he is currently in and possesses.

2. I met John over the winter when I dont think he even had a racing license and he was setting a pretty hefty pace on his single speed and then he was winning races before he had anything to do with foundation. He is just strong for his category level and he has a team supporting him.

3. John – I know you had a great last weekend and very impressive first half of the season, but be humble and let your legs do the talking and be thankful you have other riders looking out for you and helping you. Dont worry about this stupid site – lot of haters here.

Elias Neck

I have known Tony for a while..that guy trains hard. He races with his head and his legs. John B. needs to learn humility.

Coma

We took JB to a Rocket ride and he was great My friend Henry told him he will do great and so he doing.

Kid Skid

Stop dancing on another’s grave. Lisban f-ed up, he got caught, he admitted it. Those are the facts. I don’t race for Foundation, but he is also a good guy and that’s a fact. It doesn’t excuse what he did, but it highlights an issue with our sport. Lisban getting popped isn’t good for CRCA, it isn’t good for local racing, it isn’t good for anything or anyone, other than those who can now justify being “pack fill” in the A race in CP — which ain’t bad (being pack fill in the A race, that is).

Ease up on the guy. Let him take his medicine, which is banishment from the sport he loves. He’s facing a 1-2 year ban in his career, which is a death blow. That’s punishment enough.

Mathieu Headbadge

i like lisban…bums me out. I always viewed him as a guy that didnt take himself to
Seriously….bad decision, like most things in life they either haunt you mentally or you get caught

Victor Ceramic

why is it so many of the readers of this forum get so happy when someone is caught doping? It sucks. It makes all the locals who do well look bad. It sucks that all the dicks come out of the woodwork to accuse everyone who is racing well of doping too. No matter what sport you participate in people cheat. If someone cheating makes you so upset, you probably should take up knitting. You know someone else is not going to cheat to beat you out of knitting a pair of socks.

Lisban F***ED UP. No doubt. Foundation did the right thing. CRCA did the right thing. Lets get back to riding.

hay fever

I feel I have some issues with my sinuses and hay fever coming up. Wonder if I should take my medicine before I go to sleep or when I wake up in the AM just before my race… Any experts around?

Andrea Seatpost

You’re wrong and so is wiki – a public forum where anyone can say anything (both 1 word each) they want and post whatever they want. Check a more reputable source. Anyway (also 1 word) let’s stay on point here my illiterate friend – Quintero & his team f’ed up. (I’m sure you’ll want to debate that too – WHATEVER).

C&C Music Factory

Purely hypothetical question:
If you were given a doping product (EPO, CERA, etc.) and told that were you to use it you could for exactly one day ride as a professional (be it to hang on a mountain stage of a grand tour, win that stage or another race, or whatever) with no consequences of being caught (and returning the next day to whatever stage of cycling you were at previously), would you do it?

Search for Foundation Cycling
there are lots of documents available including the public copies of their Form 990 filed with the IRS.
According to that form, in 2010 they spent $91,675 on “team training to race on a national level …”
Of that amount, the biggest expenses were:
Race travel expenses – 41,558
Equipment 16,972
Elite team stipend 15,750

To answer the questions below, yes, they are paying their riders.
We’ll look into whether those riders paid taxes on that income.

sven nys

dude, i’m fucking sven nys. i’m pretty good.

so wait, the argument here is that the dopers who have been caught are “real cyclists”… meaning they’re good, i guess? so, what, dope works? wow, i had no idea.

liquiguts

Am I reading that right on page 10 that out of the $100k budget they ate $25k in unsold / freebie kit? It buggers the mind that a) there’s that much foundation kit out there just from last year and b) they really gave that much of it away. True, you’d have to pay me to wear it. Which, indeed, is what they seem to do. Or maybe Bremmer really just wanted to improve his Spanish.

Jelle Fork

Its an expensive sport. I’m in the 44% tax bracket. Hey! I’ve got an idea. Lets start a charitable foundation. That foundation sponsors a team. The foundation buys my bike shit. Whenever I spend money on my bike shit – bingo, its tax deductible.

I now get a 44% discount on everything i spend on bike shit.

America is fucking GREAT ass country.

Rear Entry

The $100k that funds the team is really tax deductible? Unreal, that money could go toward good causes but instead its funding a bunch of sports.

Razzante O-Ring

Who’s Lisbon? Is he some sort of idol in NYC racing circles? Why is everyone so hot & bothered about it? Results look like pack fodder in P/1/2 races, not even a factor. Thought he’d get a pro contract? With who, graveyard security shift at La Guardia airport? That probably pays more than most domestic pro teams, ironically….

JohnVeloBlake

I needed a structured training regimine and the motivation of a team, that’s why I left James Vincent racing/ Montecci Bicycles.
I joined foundation because they train at a good time every morning on central park. I needed the motivation and team back up that JV didn’t offer.
Also I work with Abraham at the bike shop, so it all just came together.
I talk shit because less than year ago I was addicted to cigarettes, weed, and alcohol. I have put in a huge effort and made a huge turn around. I’m proud.
If you’re going to talk me down address yourself anons.

Warre Biopace

Ya think Lisban is an isolated incident? We knew for months Foundation was going to pop someone…didnt expect it to be him though. I thought it would have been xxx or the other one, you know the guys that were trafficking drugs from the DR when they were on Mengoni, and the crazy shit was they were first signed on to Mengoni for this season…
F-n Foundation!!! Should be banned from the CRCA as well as USAC…but of course, Lisban will do his 2 years, and come back “better than ever”. And no one will be the wiser…

Ethan Internal Routing

I have know him for sometime and before he wouldnt even take any pills for head aches or anything. He was good then, I dont know what happened to him… the cost of going pro very sad. I truly don’t know what he was thinking. =(

Reality

I honestly wish there was no dope and that everyone was clean, BUT
as long as millions are to be made in sport doping simply cannot stop, and we delude ourselves to think otherwise.

UCI is corrupt to the core. There is a reason why they don’t do total body hemoglobins, and it has nothing to do with cost…
AND, why the hell is the crit limit 50% anyway…that alone is corrupt and BS.

Everything is peanuts compared to a high crit.

There have been many positives or suspensions of racers that were or once were on Mengoni.

Stop defending him. He was doing this to get a pro contract. There’s no excuse. He knew he was cheating.

VN: Looking ahead, what do you hope for in 2011?
LQ: I’m going to take the same serious approach next year as I have this year. If I’m lucky, I’ll get a pro contract with a good team. The main thing is that the team I ride for has good organization. That’s important.

shock there. unfortunately, our sacred NYC racing scene is likely peppered with dopers. but it’s no different to many other areas of the world. Take it from someone who has raced all over Europe, the amateur scene is full of people using the juice. Sad but true.

Franco Lube

it will never happen, but it would be awesome if one day they tested everyone at a local race.

Sam Apple

With no juice I get dropped like I did in Harlem, and you people will call me a failure. If I place by doping then I’m a doper. if I work hard and do my workout and eat well, then I become a sandbagger, If I win all the time by doping and i get caught, I’m stupid, If I never won and one day I get it I’m suspicious. Here everyone is suspect of doping by any means. The Pinedas were adored by a lot of people even thou everyone knew there were something wrong, Puya also made a lot of people proud until he got caught,Bunded,Blanco and now Quintero. The game is not to get caught, the game is to do it and not trust anyody. are we going to have a clean sport? very difficult for that to happends, at less there are regular and ramdom test at local races, you’ll see a lot of people not showing up. Not everyone dope, for whatever reason, but we are all suspects adn we all are The Pinedas,Hincapie,Bunded,Puya and Lisban or at leat some of us want to win like they did. t is a moral issue concerning every individual. The whole situation is sad.

?????????? only 15 pre-registered for the P 1/2/3 race @ FBF and only 36 pre-registered for the Lucareli Castali PP for this Saturday and Sunday ????????? This ? compared to prior weeks when it was a quick sell out of 110 + + racers dying to get in???? Could it be that someones on to something here ?? Maybe, just maybe we’re in for a nice big ol’ surprise this weekend.

EPO

EPO = Eggplant Parmesean & Oxygen, this will turbo charge your race, or in Schmaltz’s case, cause a pooping session.

Race Observer

It makes sense that in his urgency (29 going on 30) to get a pro contract, L-Q was desperate to get results and in his desperation he decided to dope. The pay off — pro contract if he didn’t get caught. No more Foundation and getting paid $1000 a race if he won. So he decided to take a big chance and by taking that chance he broke the rules and got caught. Now his dreams of a pro deal are blown.

The Velo News story below posted by “Headbadge” points to his crucial ambition to go pro.

And now, he’s a cat-1 local racer/sometimnes regional racer with a tarnished reputation!

another Lame Ass anonymous poster

its odd to me that so many people confuse “good guy” with good person in the sports world. I have to agree with Large Marge. LQ may be a “good guy” but he’s an idiot and deserves all of the punishment he gets, and then some. anyone who says anything but is an idiot.

Kobe Threadlock

Anyone who dopes is a twat. Its multiplied by the sheer laughability of someone doping for a few nrc races at an age when the pro contract just isn’t coming. swatting people at a local race in nyc is a total joke. grow up. unless you are mashing it as a junior you arent going pro, bar the odd exception. teams made up of over 23s pretending they are going pro make me laugh.
it is what it is, amateur racing, call it elite if you wish, get some free kit a bike etc if you wish but wake up it goes continental, pro continental, protour. anything else take it easy about screaming about sacrifices and someone taking your cat3 8th place in a park race. if you train hard great for you but keep that little dellusion in check.

Florian Steerer

Here we go again.

There really should be only one response to the news: good. Finally got caught. one more down. Racing ever so slightly cleaner. Will that make a difference for you? Probably not.

Its odd that the people that get the most upset by news like this are seemingly the people that probably never mix it up with the guys on the front, or higher calibre races. Because, at a certain point you either have to accept that drugs are there, will be there for the foreseeable future, and you’ll keep doing what you do until they get caught and you maybe win a race; or you simply hang up the wheels. I’d personally prefer to not lose sleep over it.

Everyone likes to cast judgement, but perhaps instead of demonizing one guy, once again, which has negligible effect on your sprint for 35th place in the park rat grand prix, you could possibly slather it out a bit more thinly–cause there are plenty more where Lisbon came from.

Ryan Pulley

Sanchez is clean, get over it. He’s one of the most tested riders in the DR since winning their national tour and competing in other tours as recently as a month ago.

...

Evie is a goo story. Lisban doping has a significantly greater effect of the lives of the vast majority of posters here.

Lance

By extension of your rational, you have proven what I’ve been saying all along. If you don’t test positive, you are clean!

Sincerely,
Lance Armstrong

Large Marge

You’re right. I take it all back. LQ is a hero. And a really nice guy. An honorable man for apologizing and grieving.

Here’s one for LQ – if you’re so apologetic and awseome, why don’t you give back every dollar of race winnings from the last 5 years? And why don’t you come clean and tell us who else you know in the local scene is a dirty a-hole. Do that and I’ll publically apologize to all of you sensitive weenies. Until then, I stand by LQ being a pathetic human being, doping to win softball league bike races. I honestly can’t wait to see who’s next. I hope it’s a masters rider or xxx xxx. THAT would be hilarious.

Aaron Neck

hey, can anyone think of the dopers of each of the New York based team. And this is not a trick question we need to know damit

Keano Fork

chances are, a rider who easily wins races consistently, and not having done so from their cat 5 days is not clean

Yann Downtube

Lets be real – 3/4 of the pros dope, after all there is a lot of money involved. Sponsorship deals and the economics behind selling products to amateurs and the general public with extra cash to burn. Amateurs who think that getting that fancy new bike similar to what the pros ride will make them go just as fast. It is all about economics and money. Many of these bike riders would be nothing if it weren’t the fame and fortune they obtained from racing a bicycle.

Florian Steerer

3/4 would be generous if you ask me.

As for the comment about consistently winning as a higher cat and not as a 5: That is potentially true, but people do develop as they race, and get tactically smarter as well. So attributing winning as a 2 or a 1 more than a 5 to drugs is somewhat simplifying it. Racing also changes from 5s to Pro,1 races; you dont have 50 guys sitting in for a field sprint and 1 dude trying to get away. There is actually strategy involved. Not winning as a 2 or a 1 and then all of a sudden tearing legs off, then yes, you are probably not squeaky. But you still gotta upgrade to that point, so you have to be doing something right along the way.

700x25

Sad story- Lisban is a nice and friendly guy. Not that he should get a break for stealing peoples times and energy.

“Nobody is going to dope to win local races and CRCA club races. They are going to dope because they think that is what they need to do to go pro.”

I dont know about that anymore- there are some serious egos in this world who will do just about anything to win…even cat 5/4 races or Park races…or even doping for the rocket ride. Over the last 10 years I have seen and heard some people do some whacky stuff to try and win a park race including unsuccessfully doping (doping with a result to show for it).

Nothing surprise me anymore.

The Truth

I woke up this morning and trudged to the computer and I see this garbage on Velonews. I know I made the correct decision. I raced in NYC the US Circuit and Europe. I was on one of your hated teams. Did I dope? No. Did I win some races? Yes. I haven’t raced a bike in about a year and it was the best decision of my life. I have seen the nasty truth first hand and could probably name more riders. Let me give you all a piece of advice. It will never get better. If something looks too good to be true….it is. Pick a new hobby, because that is all it is.

You what really pisses me off. All these guys who got caught, Bunde, Lisban, Blanco, when they race local shit races like FBF, they just go out and crush everyone else. Bunde would flat, change wheels, chase back to the group, then attack and solo home for the win. Lisban crushed everyone a few weeks ago. WTF. You guys dope to win FBF. Or you can’t help but show how awesome you (the dope) is? That’s lame. It’s one shitty thing to dope for NRC races but to then show off at FBF just makes you pathetic. Same thing for Sanchez. He’ll get popped soon enough.

Lucas Bartape

Have you ever come close to winning a race? Park race or whatever? Something that you worked hard for and prepared for? Or anything in life, have you ever come close to reaching it?

...

“(USADA) will eventually announce it,” said Quintero. “I cannot tell you anything.”

why?

An email to CRCA president Dave Jordan was not immediately returned.

who cares?

Antoine Dodson

You don’t have to come and confess
We’re lookin for you
We gon find you we gon find you
So you can run and tell that,
Run and tell that
Run and tell that, homeboy
Home, home, homeboy

First, dopers exist from HS sports up to the top dogs in the Premier league, La Liga, Pro Tour etc. It starts with ego and opportunity for bigger things and then spirals toward maintaining your position in the pecking order. As for big money, the big money is a small part of it for most pros. The majority of these dopers in the States are living at or below minimum wage with very few spots on Pro Tour or Pro Conti teams. With this said, it seems to come down to ego. 99% ego – from getting on the cool Cat1 team to winning the local crit etc. The sport is addictive and I am guessing so is winning ( I would not know).

I have suspected guys of doping who do a few races a year and mainly local training rides like the Gimbels. I have no proof but the signs are all there (fast and huge improvement in ability, skin complexion issues, random muscle and back injuries often and personality issues).

I do think there are people doping to win the local Cat1-3 race if only to the “man” in the local racing scene. Its sad, but I have come to realize that as long as you are out there having fun and pushing yourself its all worth it regardless of the dopers.

Enjoy the sport and dont waste the negative energy on the dopers.

guts

Agreee with Cat 3 and The Truth. People offer me stuff sometimes saying htat’s all I need to win, I can still palce or be competitive with just Animal Pack Vitamins, protein and heavy gear trainning. Not everyone has the ability to say no if there is a chance to win. Good luck to everyone.

Lubed Chain

John B left his team to go to Foundation, now he thinks he is the shit. Antonio nice guy having fun.

Steevo

Lets be serious, there is no money in bike racing.
If he came up poor, he would have been better off studying and
becoming a f ing electrician or plumber. Whoever said it was to help
his family is an idiot. He has disgraced his family here. There is no
money in cycling, doping is about EGO.

Victor Lube

a dude in the last crca race took a free lap and then kept on racing and actually sprinted , for that day his whole team was DQ. so my question is Lisban cheated this year in his races so is his whole team DQed from the results

it seems they should be as they were last week

The messenger

According first hand insiders info WADA will take random tests this week at local races in NYC including PP and CP

Random Name

I would say not for the whole season, but certainly the races he participated in. And you have to feel better about the Foundation getting DQ’ed two races ago now that we know two of their members that morning broke club rules.

Senor Fahey

WADA will be putting cameras in the porta-potties at FBF and Prospect Park from now on, and posting the results on youtube. Or redtube.

A Rider

If Lisban came into your home or your buisness and stole from you, would you think he is a nice guy? Yes he is soft-spoken and did not make assinine gestures when he won races, but he took something from you that was not rightfully his. And if you are not a rider that has the ability to get a top finish, he stole from your team mates and/or friends. So enough with the nice guy bullshit as he is no better than the guy who cut your lock and ripped off your bike.

The Lab

Lisban got caught because he was using the wrong stuff. Call us and we get you undetectable doping products. Call 1-800-Joe-papps.

John

Keep in mind that the only reason he failed a test is because he was racing in big races out of town. The NYC racing scene is full of guys doping and racing in local races that will never do a race that tests. Keep that in mind when the race gets hard this weekend. There are dopers in your field. You are not going to win the race and they aren’t going to get tested after they win.

dick

stop it with the “he stole from me” bullshit. you weren’t going to be in the money at Base Camp, and if he beat you in a crca race, he “stole” at most the side of bacon you ordered for breakfast that morning after the race.

he cheated, and that sucks. period. it’s wrong in and of itself, not because it’s something else.

Andrea Seatpost

To Large Marge…best post out there man!! Well written, intelligent elloquent and oh so true. Not that I hate the dopers – in fact I dont even care if they get banned. It’s just gratifying and good to know who they are as I compete against them regularly as a Cat 1. It certainly does help to motivate me when I learn who they are as I can keep pace with them and on a good day, even beat them while staying clean. Keep your comments coming Large Marge! And keep revealing the dopers…bring it on!!!
PS – f the spelling errors…intentional or otherwise…its the thought that counts and we get the idea).

Benjamin Bushing

listen asshole, i went without bacon on my egg, cheese and otherwise bacon-on-a-roll last weekend ’cause i was out of the money on placing. so yeah, the dude took the bacon right outta my mouth. he can eat scrapple for all i care.

Dot the I's

Just think about it, Charlie I and Mr. I could be like the McMahons of professional Wrestling, run a successful team at all cost, and make more revenue in their business, selling clothing, bikes and promoting races.

Race Observer

As a long term member of CRCA, racer and passionate believer in racing clean, I would like to pose a few basic questions:

#1. What has L-Q being a nice guy got to do with this? He doped, he got caught, he cheated. There are appropriate punishments for this behavior and for his transgressions.

#2. Racing clean, as I and many others have, against L-Q makes me think that week after week, month after month and season after season, that when another high profile local wins a race that they TOO may be doping but didn’t get caught. Who are these dopers and what does CRCA intend to do about it?

#3. Will L-Q return all of his winnings in the local races to make amends?

#4. Should he give money a la Lance Armstrong to CRCA to invest in a drug testing machine? Is this the right course of action to take?

#5. Finally what will the head honchos at the Foundation Team do about this? Will they clean house? Will they ensure that any dopers currently racing on their team are kicked off? Remember L-Q is a symptom of a wider disease, cheating, doping and NOT getting caught!

For all of my colleagues who race without medication, good luck out there and CRUSH the dopers!!

Mathias Seatpostq

‘Crit limit hasn’t been 50% since EPO test was developed. But you’re on target otherwise.

Enrico Palattzo

We’ve all heard the stories of how Foundation riders get large cash bonuses for winning meaningless local races. A lot of local talent has gone on to ride for the team as a result. Some of this talent has gone dirty. Is it possible that team management/ownership is behind the dirtiness? This is not an accusation, but curious as to whether anyone out there knows of a connection.

Galleazzo Lube

Not an accusation? The only thing you left out was the closer “just sayin” or “hmm”

West Coast Reader

So what is Large Cash Bonus?

1. $20 in quarters stacked up?
2. $50 in singles lined up vertically end to end?
3. $100 photocopied and printed on 42″x75″ poster paper?
4. $50 and a coupon to the sponsors coffee shop?

Just what is large? Or are you just guessing or passing on some comment heard on your local ride through the park as a cop was handing you a ticket?

liquiguts

Ignoring the ethics of paying “amateurs” something in the range $500-$1000 to beat down on us at the various venerable local venues, is it legal to take 501c3 tax deducted money and use it this way? Foundation foundation inc should have books, which should be open to the public, right? Any tax lawyers what to comment?

liquiguts

Hardly an accusation as I’ve never heard Foundation Foundation Inc. even attempt to deny that it pays its riders. I’d be happily corrected, though. However, their payout seems to be on the order of 10 to 20 times what Mengoni pays out, hence their ability to pick up ex Mengoni riders like Lisban, Euris, and Raphael. Any Foundation leadership wish to confirm or deny?

Again, as a public charity, which entitles their donors a tax deduction (and thus all of us the loss of that money for public use), aren’t they required to allow public access to their books?

Or, more broadly, when you bring on questionable riders (Euris and Raphael were suspended by DR, no?), you can reasonably expect questions to be asked, and legally required to answer some.

Mr. i need more juice

so this makes like 5 guys caught so far in our local racing! this sucks and is very sad for such a small reward to get the side effects etc…:(>>

Reality

and the side effects are? Most of the locals busted were at much larger payouts with the Pros. Not C/P or P/P. Lets face it , for most of us we’re not rewarding or pockets,we’re rewarding something much bigger–our EGOs.

Not Ricco

Can one of you enlightened souls explain the economics of doping? Let’s take the average aspiring pro…maybe, if they are so fortunate to live in a city like NYC where the streets are paved with gold & the wall street engine hums along, they can make $7K. Maybe. How much would it cost to be on the “full” program?

liquiguts

I couldn’t agree with you more … than your verbs and nouns agree with themselves.

With your insider’s knowledge, can you enlighten us as to why then Rafael was denied entry in the US in 2009? Mr I said it was a misunderstanding following from all the drugs he needed to treat his severe erectile dysfunction. I heard Pascal Richard had a special trick for the problem.

My question about Foundation Foundation opening the books stands.

...

Why in the world would Lisban be allowed to remain in CRCA until his suspension is up?

As a member of CRCA, I acknowledge that:

My participation in CRCA races is a privilege.
This privilege is dependent upon the ability of CRCA to hold races.
This privilege could be lost as a result of the actions of participants and marshals, including myself.
Furthermore, I accept that:

I will not ride in the recreation lane while racing in City Parks.
I will not participate in dangerous group rides in City Parks such as the “night ride.”
I will treat club members, racers, officials, park users, and the public with respect.
I acknowledge that any failure to comply with this code or any Policies of the club will subject me and/or my sub-team to disciplinary action as determined by the Board, subject to the requirements of the Club’s By-laws.

Luca Housing

wow!! HELMET!! Your command of the English language….well, lets just say – NOTHING. We’ll leave it alone.
Liquiguts – SPOT ON!! Logical and intelligent. You seem to indicate a fair, unbiased and accurate opinion. Foundation has got a lot of ‘splainin to do (LUCY)!!!

Luchino Grips

“Only real cyclist get positive dope exams, not people who pretend to be one.”
W-T-F??????

Andrea Seatpost

Floydguy, you illiterate – No one is two words. (So is shut up for that matter, but that can be overlooked…you’re probably just trying to look cool or something like that.) Pre-reg always fills up for the Lucarelli Castali Series @ PP. And – yes they did post the pictures that Andrea was requesting. So – who’s the idiot?

Matteo Grips

Lisban had been offered Pro contracts in the past and turned them down. Let’s not be naive here.

Angryamateur

I feel bad for LQ(not because is a cheater but bc he has to live with that label rest of his life), and I feel worse for his mother. What does his father think? Afterall, I am sure he influenced Lisban become who is as a bike racer and assisted him in decisions he has made along the way(here I mean, to become a competitive racer).
And mostly, I feel bad for myself and others who enjoys racing, who puts in the time/effort because we enjoy it despite the pain and years of no real glory.
I have to admit, this hit me closer-to-home than I ever imagined. To know that, LQ, a guy I have lined up with in races doped. I do not know him personally but have respected him and watched him in admiration as he won races. I don’t care about others who dopes, if they haven’t gotten busted, good for them, I hope they see what other racer are reacting to this and quit that crap. I am not going to speculate who may be doping or not, that’s not my place and that’s not fair. Yet, I am pretty bummed out. I guess, I wil go for a ride now.

Simon Tigweld

The day I see USADA show up at a local race to test I will retire. Never gonna happen. How many locals are even in the testing pool? so off the radar.

Gabriel Cogset

Let me get this straight –
If you’re pack fill, you are a looser. CRCA and Prospect races are just for training, half the field is on drugs, and if you took drugs to win we want that big pile of money back. If you go from cat5 to pro to quickly, you’re undoubtedly on drugs, unless your name is Evie. If you win, you probably took drugs.
Oh, and if you are not white you’re definitely taking drugs and it is only a matter of time till you get busted. The only thing I can’t figure out is how to tell the difference between the sandbaggers from the guys on dope.

At the end of the day, cycling is a hobby, nothing more. If you want to take drugs to win at this hobby, you are pathetic.

Elias Neck

“If your not white you’re definitely taking drugs”

I wanted to make sure I’m reading this right. So someone who is African American is instantly doping? You know..guys involved in this sport here in the city (who happen to be white) have this sense of entitlement. Why? I have no idea. The chip on their shoulder is almost as big as their ego. We’re all club racers, and a small handful of pro’s. Being a person of color is hard enough sometimes when you do a Central Park race and you can count the number of African Americans on one hand. Believe me! If this is going to turn into some sort of polarizing race discussion, count me off reading this website forever. We deal with this every day, not in our hobbies.
Lisbon screwed up. We all do. Everyday. I’m not supporting him by no means. But let’s move on

Eddy Hurts

+1.
The implied and overt racism here is infinitely offensive than the doping.
For a group of athletes who make a hobby out of such a worldwide sport, the people picking on particular ethnic groups are pathetic.

Dino Rim

The “I made a mistake” defense is absurd. You might make a mistake once, but it’s unlikely that LQ doped only the one time. Something he did regularly over the course of many seasons is not a mistake, it’s a way of life.

Lisban may be a nice guy, but he made a choice and now has to live with the consequences.

the doper

Finding dopers is not that difficult. You race against the same guys all season. Everyone is building up towards a certain period. Some like early season, others mid and others late. You can tell by how one races and how much training effort someone puts in. If you see someone all of a sudden having more sprinting power you know he could be mixing.

As far as I understand it’s just cheaper to get more sprinting power then endurance power. Those endurance drugs are either for the rich guys or the ones with the right connections. In most local races it mostly comes down to sprinting power IMO.

Anyway, we all see and talk about who suddenly has the strongest…

ginging

Mengoni has to have one of the highest positives per rider over the years for any elite-am team in the US based on its size. I have been racing since 2005 and during that time I can think of at least 3 riders tied to the team (raced for Mengoni at one point)that have been popped for juicing, 2 others had that a weird suspension in 2008 – I believe and banned from racing for a year and another 4-5 racers over the years that many have serious doubts about. USCA should look to the team at this point and see whats up. I am not saying all on the team are dirty but at this point a focus on management seens appropriate.

Simon Tigweld

Finding them is not the problem. There are lots out there, and its not all that secret. its the lack of testing that makes it difficult to change the problem. if theres minimal risk of getting caught, why would anyone stop once they start and see the clear benefits?

the test

everyone who is ranting and raving about dopers and testing, why not turn your negativity into something positive and start persuading people to support a petition, a petition to CRCA requesting at least two riders to hand over their urine sample after their race. With over 200 ppl participating in each race it’s not like they can’t effort it.

Excitable

Right because I can totally hear the tone of your stupid ass voice ant it’s inflections over the internet.

Tony Soprano

Large Marge — great post.

You don’t believe masters dope? Several have been caught from Papp’s list.

Does doping equate to stealing? We’re not talking about the money (I hope not since 1st place in a CRCA race is worth $35). We’re talking about the experience. If I take 5th place, it’s a good day. But if the 2 Foundation riders ahead of me had been clean, I’d be 3rd and had a better day.

xxx xxx was a former pro and currently rides with Foundation. Can we start the testing there?

Douche Bag

Extracted from Sports Science article and INJECTED here……..see below……………

“They said that I was a rotten apple, but I now believe that the whole tree is rotten … When you train a lot your haematocrit goes down, so how is it possible for someone to go to the Dauphiné or the Giro with a (haematocrit) level of 52%. How do they get it up to this level? With EPO. But it’s the UCI’s (Union Cycliste Internationale) fault. Because they could sort it out very easily. They could take that cyclist to Lausanne, get him to spend a year training (without access to EPO) and see what happens. He won’t end up (with a haematocrit) at 52%, but at 38%. He won’t even be able to get out of bed. But it’s all a farce. The only ones who are getting rich are some of the doctors, and not the cyclists… I have a witness who said that one doctor was asking for six million pesetas (£30 000) to use his preparation methods. Will they be asking for six million for just aspirin and mineral salts?”

http://www.sportsscientists.com/2007/06/culture-of-doping-in-cycling-anything.html

No – its Mengoni has more positives then all the other teams combined in NYC. I dont race or live in NYC and have no affiliation with any NYC team. Just stating some obvious facts.

Line holder

Betcha didn’t know. Wilmington DE is well-known for its quality beeves. The report doesn’t say what the poz was for…

What about that shady guy who rocketed from winning FBF 3s last year to earning a point in the P123 already? DS to Foundation. jus sayin…

meh

He was being sarcastic, chill. I’m also an AA racer and while I acknowledge that there are a ton of self-absorbed dicks (of all colors) in the NYC peloton, I’ve never seen any kind of racist attitudes. That’s one thing I’ll say for racing here… it’s actually a diverse crowd, which is not the case pretty much anywhere else in the US.

Dillon G

Implying that access to PED’s is easier in places like Colombia and The DR is not racism, its fact. If caucasion racers frequented those countries, they would have easier access to PED’s as well.

Poop Poop

Does Performance Enhancers cause excessive pooping, especially before the start of the race?

PED Supply

Actually the best places to get the best PED supplies and doctors is in Europe, the white part of Europe.

Large Marge

Lisban is not an anomoly. His team is dirty. We all know it. Wake up.

This is such a weird blog because one is chastised for accusing a person without proof and also for ripping on someone who tests positive. Every local dude who tests positive is supposedly a good guy who made a mistake – and thus we should all shut up because it’s bad for the sport. But every pro who tests positive is a disgrace. You people are retarded. Which way do you want it?

Here’s the deal. EVERY pro cheats. EVERY amateur who seeks to be a pro and gets top results cheats. I know it. You know it. It is what it is. You need to decide if you care. I don’t, but I think the dopers are losers and I HATE that you people defend these guys.

There is an air about this blog that we should all hate dopers. But the second a local doper emerges, most of you rush to his defense and make excuses like “lisban is a good guy and made a mistake”. People like me get accused of making the sport worse for speaking about it honestly. But the truth is, dooshes (yes, I know that’s not how it’s spelled) like Lisbon are the bad guys. I know Lisbon. I know his father. Guess what? Lisbon is a fuking dick for this. He’s a lying, cheating, stealing, cock. Because I know him, I am not surprised that he admitted to it and apologized (because he’s not a bad person to the core), but as an athlete and competitor and someone we all know and deal with week to week, it doesn’t change things. He’s a fuking ass-hole for this. Don’t defend him. He doesn’t deserve it.

Angryamateur

Guys in the pro gets busted, but really there is no real shame, is there? – two years later they are back racing again. Ban those pros from racing for good, ban them from coaching/running a team or being involved in the sport…Make it a big crime…It’s bad and it’s wrong. No second chances…team owners, managers, anyone involved in the doping crap, expose them, get rid of them. Let’s see what % of the youngsters will dope. Yes, there will always be cheaters, but problem will continue to exist at the same level unless we take drastic measures. As long as the community has the attitude of forgiving? and “welcomig” the cheaters back, it won’t change.

Being caught doping should be a HUGE disgrace. Doping is wrong.
It should be a serious offense, but the way it is treated right now, it appears otherwise.

I am sure some doping cases are a lot more complicated but there are clearly situations when dopers are proven dopers.

I am sure Lisban is a good guy, I am sure so is Pulla and Bunde.
But what they did is WRONG. They cheated, they don’t deserve to be welcome back to the racing community.
Go start a new life doing something else. If you loved bike racing that much, you guys should have stayed off of it.

You guys are ruining the sports for others as well…

West Coast Reader

1. Does it mean he’s banned from racing the CRCA races for two years?
2. Will Foundation be banned from the local NY Championship race(s)?
3. Will NYV keep him and his team from posting on the NYV website?
4. Will all his previous posts be removed?
5. Will the Foundation Kit critique be removed?
6. Will he still be able to ride the NY Grand Fondo? Even if he’s just helping out? Showers?
7. Will he write a book? Or, at least an interview with Dan or whats his name. (Andy) Make him spill his guts on what he did!
8. Will CRCA interrogate him on his doping practices? If he squeals will his Foundation team blacklist him? Will NYV blacklist him? Will anyone blacklist him?
9. Will the NY Cycling Omerta support him in his time of need?
10. Will he have to pay back this years paycheck to CRCA?

I think that’s it?

Ethan Brifter

that xxx and xxx are clean then please give me a call, I would like to sell you Brooklyn Bridge.

Dearest Large Marge,

Thanks for proving that you are a true douche (spelled correctly). Nobody is saying that doping is okay, but let a guy who admits a mistake grieve without proclaiming some dumbo statement that “you are right” because you (stupidly) alleged that others have doped in local races (witness your d-bag allegations against GO last week).

“EVERY amateur who seeks to be a pro and gets top results cheats” — what a stupid comment, you should be ashamed.

You seem to be (are) a bitter, crusty, a-hole.

Enjoy, nut bag!

Ryan Wave Ring

Weak……………what about convicted dopers are immediately kicked out for good and their team is suspended for a year from club races? There has to be a penalty for the teams too.

I’m not trying to single out Foundation but this is at least strike 2 for Foundation with Gavin’s antics earlier this month. Who knew Inson would be the most respectable part of that team?

The Board’s Statement

June 25, 2011
CRCA sub-team Foundation Cycling New York has removed Lisban Quintero from its roster for violation of the team’s contract by testing positive at a race in Wilmington, DE. CRCA’s Code of Conduct requires complying with all USAC rules and Lisban will be suspended from CRCA indefinitely in accordance with the Club by-laws. Additional details are expected from USAC next week.

We are deeply saddened, angered and disappointed to hear that one of our members has disgraced his club, his team and the sport by abusing banned substances. CRCA has always stood against doping at all levels of the sport and will not tolerate violations of any form.

Get A Life

Its Amazing how many people on here take the time out to bash the Foundation Team over what one guy did. Get over it!! Move on!
Try spending time on building this sport in NYC. There will always be cheaters in every sport. Do what works for you.

Max Throttleboogie

Ice cream makes me ride fast. I eat Breyers ice cream before every race and go vroom-vroom. I don’t need to inject no mouse mouse 38 interferon recombinant monkey puke to go fast. Eat ice cream and cat-up quick!

Lisban, at least one good thing is coming out of this-now you don’t have to get up at 430am to race.

Tony Soprano

From the article inked below–
“Dr. Daniel Coyne, a professor of medicine at Washington University in St. Louis, asked why any patient would willingly risk a fatal stroke or heart attack”
Duhh. To win $35 at a CRCA race.
Dr Papp said it was OK as long as my hematocrit never went over 68. Or 56. I forget. It doesn’t matter, does it?

Penman phil

A specialist in the field of epo etc once informed me that amgen had a prototype drug later to be called cera that was available to certain american riders many years ago, however a few years later a tracer was put into the drug so it would show up in the patients however nobody knew about the tracer and hence a load of cyclists got busted one year not knowing.

The tracer was obviously not put in to catch cyclists but for medical purposes but those that were not in this field of medical would have zero knowledge of this.

West Coast Reader

Where have you been hiding? We have done the Amgen sponsorship conflict of interest years ago.

Helmut Gescheint

CERA is a Roche product. It is a long lasting form of EPO with an unnatural “tail” attached. The tail makes it once monthly dosing but also easily detectable. Roche worked with many interested parties to develop a reliable detection procedure. Roche did not bother to release this info to non-specialists (such as Ricco). Oh snap! That is how the Swiss roll.

Goonigoogoo

If you were ever even remotely thinking about taking drugs to do better in cycling, read this:

http://www.nytimes.com/2011/06/25/health/policy/25drug.html?_r=3

If that doesn’t discourage you, I don’t know what will.

“The Food and Drug Administration concluded that there were no risk-free doses of Epogen, Aranesp and Procrit… there is growing evidence that the drugs may have cost many patients their lives by causing deadly strokes and other heart problems, as well as speeding the growth of cancer tumors.”

Dopers, wtf are you thinking, winning bike races is worth the risks to your health?????

not from nyc

Its pretty funny seeing a bunch of millionaire New Yorkers calling a
dude making 10k/year “pro.” Get over yourselves, its an adult
softball league. He is 30 years old, he is not going to be anything
other than a guy who beats up on dayjobbers with kids at the local crit. Good job dickhead.

tyronne

yes, lisban raced in your “adult softball league” but also big NRC stuff. maybe not the most prolific winner on that stage, but he did do well enough to raise eyebrows—basecamp sprint from, like, 600 meters to hold off the Fly V Australia train anyone?

...

es, everyone in CRCA…hell everyone in NYC is a millionaire. It must suck hard to not be from here.

Ari Schtottle

Yeah, well then you just don’t really know what you’re talking about. The doping is certainly pathetic, and who knows how good he was without the drugs, but arguing that lisban was nothing as a racer or had no chance to ride professionally is just wrong.

Lisban was probably not given as many opportunities as a guy wih his ability might have been if he hadn’t been a south american riding out of NYC, ironically. Now it will be that much harder for the next guy, clean or not.

Julien Dry Lube

Once upon a time, we’d slow down our heart rate by stepping out of Central Park into el Barrio, picking up a dime bag of SinSemilla’, and lightning a White Owl. Several laps later, off for a few Coors Light. Zero srynges policy. Bitches digged us. Of course, we didn’t make it into 7 Eleven, but now, many years later, we hold a job, and our D goes UP

Totto Ziptie

What an ass.
“I am sorry” doesn’t cut it.
You aren’t sorry about doping twit, you are sorry you got caught.

In New York City, the Latin riders are some of the strongest riders in the peleton. Your Mengoni teammate, Roosevelt “pollo” Marte, is a former winner of the Mt. Holly Grand Prix. Since you are a native of Colombia, tell us why you think Latin riders are such good bicycle races? What have you learned from “pollo”?

For Latin American cyclists training and teamwork is very important for us. We tend to work together and try to have the best man win races. Roosevelt “pollo” Marte is a great sprinter and he has many years under his bike racing. For me I have only raced one year in the USA formally for the Cuevas Development team. So I can learn a lot from racing with “pollo”!

Lenny Grips

“Consmption of boar meat, liver, kidneys and heart also increased 19-norandrosterone output.”

Any chance Lisban was eating boar meat?

If he continue to make false accusations he is going to get in a lot of legal troubles. So sorry for CRCA.
