The dates wrong up top!
Corrected, Andy’s an amateur…
I believe there will be a sequal to this book. Involving P. McQquaid and the rest of the UCI thanks to the eventual Cookson T&R commision.
Also, can anyone sell me chair lifts? It’s more important than feeding my own people. -k. Jong Un (jr. dictator)
Fantastic book, right from page 1. Like many others I knew all the names and parts of the story, but have never had it all laid out from the very beginning to the end before.
someone could go to the Strand and pick up a box of them for $3.00 less than it is to order them on Amazon.
There should be a surprise food/beer deal and/or gift from Veselka if you come on Wednesday night!

How do you have a complimentary $4 beer? Complimentary means free.
this book delves into minutiae of lance’s personality traits that have long garnered him disdain and ill-will. but it also brings one up that has given me a bit of respect for lance–that is, the way he stands up for himself when assholes in cars try to fuck with him.
This is hard for me to get excited about… Again. How many times can we rehash this and keep it interesting. I’d much rather read about our local characters and our local racing scene.
Thank you everyone for coming tonight. I think Veselka had a full house and then some!
It was a fun event – engaging both from the audience and Reed/Vanessa, and great to see not just the racers but so many others interested in the subject.
As for “Complimentary $4 beer”, I meant to say “Beer served at discounted price at $4”
Though most racers got their first round of beer for “FREE”. If you were there chances are you got your first pint compliment of the restaurant.
So, I wasn’t completely wrong! Thanks for point that out, however.
