Stevens Institute of Technology Cycling proudly presents the Duck Country Circuit in FDR Park up in Yorktown Heights. This short 1.8mile course has been used several times for the Empire State games and makes for one fast race. We are offering a mens 3/4 race before the collegiate action starts and prizes will go 5 places deep.

The last corner is very fast and then it's mostly downhill, plus the road is much worse on that side. Promoter was not thinking, inexperienced, or wants a very fast/challenging & risky sprint
The empire finish was much better, a good false flat sprint after the short steepish hill.
That start finish line is in a terrible spot. Its after a REALLY SHARP turn and on a bit of a down hill. Not sure why the promoter didn't just use the empire start/finish
