Fake Paint

Section head text.

I really should be working, but bike paint has been on my mind lately. Specifically, how little I like the current offerings from bike companies. It seems that decals and marketing priorities have taken over in the paint department of most manufacturers.

So I decided to put together my own paint scheme. It prominently features paint fades – as all paint jobs in my world should. I also went with blue, because I like blue. I also did scallops near the head tube – not an earth shattering design element, I know – but you know what? It looks good! I also decided that my good luck symbol would be the symbol of the area of my birth – the Fleur de lis. Granted that symbol hasn’t been lucky for the New Orleans Saints, but that’s football – completely different sport.

So behold the mighty Dumbass! I would’ve put more time into the logo also, but I don’t have any more time.

you could do like motorbikes these days and use the frame as a reservoir to hold gu/gatorade/BALCO products.

just think with that massive bb area you could also hide a kilo of coke and cross the border from mexico “nothing to declare officer”. sweet!

Tastes differ but I haven’t seen anything that’s as ugly and cheap looking as Dumbass put out by a major bike company.
