disappoint

 It was a weekend’s worth of racing that I shall now type about, so here is the typing that I will do.

At the CRCA Club Race, Stephen Alexander of Foundation won the A race. BrittLee Bowman of Stans NoTubes p/b enduranceWERX won the women’s race. Greg Hruby of the CRCA won the B race. Mim Gilbert won the women’s cat 4 development series race. Nick Burton of CRCA won the C race. Results are here.

At the Chris Thater Memorial races in Binghamton, Adrian Hegyvary of UnitedHealthcare Pro Cycling Team won the men’s pro/1 race. Sarah Fader of Pepper Palace Pro Cycling won the women’s pro/1/2 race. Meghan Schloat of CityMD Racing won the women’s cat 3/4 race. Results are here.

It’s that depressing time of year when racing has wound down. What is everyone doing with their road bikes beyond bike tours and training for cross?

it came so soon this year… and nothing else in quotidian daily life is as exciting as bike racing :-/ especially if you don’t do cross

is the rumor true that the Somerville bike shop was recently raided by the police for drugs – not sure if performance enhancing or recreational type? Also, does anyone know why nearly the entire Somerville team got dropped at the Chris Thater race while they normally get top 10 at other NCC races? The timing of a drug bust + the USADA sanction + the crap results this past weekend seem like more than just a big coincidence.
