Things are finally starting to smoke again on the team after a dead May, with two podium spots on Sunday for Tony Slokar and Anthony Accardi, whose performance at the NJ TT Champs was a big surprise to some, but not to those of us who try to keep up with him on a regular basis. I’d like to think I got it all going with a win at the Hudson Valley Velo Club Tuesday Night TT at New Paltz last week.*

@##=#<12,L>@##=#True, there were only four of us, and I would never have had to face any of my three competitors in a sanctioned event, but I’ll take a win whenever I can. The best part was just being able to finish without a crash or flat.

The TTs continue this week, with the HVVC uphill course finishing atop the Gunks, and then the CRCA ITT. Not far off come the TTs of the Tour de France, starting with what should be a hot and fiery prologue in Strasbourg.
